一 | Colombo, Oct 19 (UNI) Sri Lanka would be in a far more difficult situation if not for financial assistance provided by the Indian government, the leader of the island nation's most influential leftist party said in remarks published on Wednesday.
Speaking to a television channel, Anura Kumara Dissanayake of the Janatha Vimukti Peramuna (JVP) compared the $3.8 billion assistance provided by India within six months with the $2.9 billion promised by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) over a period of four years.
The Island newspaper quoted Dissanayake as appreciating the Indian help, "at a time when the government (of Sri Lanka) was unable to meet even the basic needs of the population".
Asserting that the situation in the country continued to deteriorate, the JVP leader warned of a fresh round of public protests against the government.
But he urged the public to desist from violence. If the public resorted to violence, the government would exploit the situation to unleash the police and the military, he warned.
The JVP carried out two failed major insurrections in 1971 and in 1987-89 to capture power, leaving thousands dead.
UNI MR。　　记者从三峡集团获悉，8月11日，亚洲首个采用柔性直流输电技术送出的海上风电项目——三峡集团江苏如东800兆瓦海上风电项目（以下简称“江苏如东海上风电项目”）累计输送电量突破100亿千瓦时，为我国大容量、远距离海上风电柔性直流输电技术的规模化应用提供了实践验证。

二 | 　　江苏如东海上风电项目位于江苏省南通市如东县黄沙洋海域，是当期世界上容量最大、电压等级最高的海上风电柔性直流输电工程。

三 | 项目自2021年全容量并网投运以来，已安全稳定运行超过1600天，设备可利用率达到99.5%。项目累计发出的100亿千瓦时清洁电能，可满足约400万户家庭一年的生活用电需求，相当于节约标准煤300万吨、减少二氧化碳排放740万吨。　　深远海风电开发中，受距离和容量限制，传统交流输电逐渐难以满足需求，柔性直流输电成为更优的技术选择。然而，作为全球首个±400千伏海上风电柔直送出工程，江苏如东海上风电项目在运营过程中缺少成熟经验借鉴。　　三峡集团江苏分公司南通公司副总经理王雪峰表示，面对远海海域高湿、高盐、台风频发的恶劣环境，以及柔直设备技术新、系统集成复杂、应急响应难度大等多重挑战，工程团队重点突破了±400千伏柔直系统稳定运行、长距离海缆监测维护、大负荷工况调控等难题，实现了远海柔直风电安全、稳定、高效运营。与传统交流输电方式相比，项目输电线损降低约1.2个百分点，累计节约输电成本超过7.35亿元。
